Hey, my friend just wants to see if anyone know whats going on with his 95' Maxima, so I'm asking for him. A few times, the engine shutoff suddenly and once it happend on the highway. The car has 135,XXX miles on it and I thought that might have been it. The car runs fine, but this happens sometimes. Again I just think its old age.

spark plugs, disconnected fuel line........ Tell him to have it checked out.......135,000 isn't that much of "old age" for a '95 Maxima.

Could be a number of things. The best way to find out is to have it hooked up to a computer at the local service center. Just DON'T chalk it up to old age though. :nono: These guys are right. I just sold my '90 Maxima with 244,000 miles on it and running like a top!

Wow, man thats a lot of miles. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll let him know. And yeah, I guess its not old age because Nissans usually last a while. Thanks again.
