Ideal Date ????

What would your ideal date be?


My ideal date would be to go ice skating, seeing as to how i have never ice skated before, and then going to the theature and watching a play. We could top the night off with some coffee or hot cocoa while star gazing....:flash:

As cliched as it sounds, I’m still a sucker for a good dinner and a movie. What happens after that depends on how well I know my date!! ;)

Ohh see I interpreted the question differently. I was going to say every 'date' that falls on a weekend or holiday. :D

But the other way makes more sense. :p

An ideal date would not have to involve a lot, it could be as simple as renting a movie and curling up on the couch with a warm blanket, or a walk through the rain to grab a hot cup of Oregon Chai, while we sit on a wet park bench and talk. There is of course one ideal night that I have always had in mind. It would involve spending a quiet evening with someone special on a small sailboat. We'd push out from the dock and drop anchor out in the bay, in a private, secluded area. Sipping a bit of wine and talking the night away, we might get daring and go skinny dipping in the moonlight. Afterwards, we climb back on board and dry off, curled under a warm blanket while watching the stars above. The rest is left up to your imagination. ;)

ill make this easy.

My ideal date would be someone that likes to do the same kind shit as I do. Since I like to do as little as possible, it would be hard to find someone like me.

It would have to be doing something simple, so I wouldnt make an ass of myself. Probably a movie and coffee or something like that.

This thread would all have to be just a "for instance" cause there is no such thing as the "perfect date" as far as me can tell.

it doesn't matter to me, as long as there is enough privacy for us to do what we want ;)

i like inviting girlfriends to just comeover when my parents are gone.... i love it when it's just me, a girl, and the house all to our selves. We can have a couple drinks, go in the pool or hot tub, or just watch a movie...... go to my bed.... lol :D it's all good


so much can happen when you're at your house... i once got pretty nasty with a girl on our pool table, hehe, that was exciting :)
plus the hot tub is good for cool nights.... girls seem to like the tub :)

I dotn really have an ideal date. I'm a sucker though for just spending time alone with a girl i care about and who has some of the same intersts that I have.

I'd actually love to just sit outside somewhere quiet on a warm clear night, and (SHOCKER! you're going to hear this from a guy.....) cuddle, talk about nothing, and watch the stars for hours.

I was thinking of saying that but i didn't. I'm a hopeless cuddle bug at usually. stars, gotta love looking at those, but here wheni stay on campus, its too bright to see anything :(. oh well, thats what the weekends are for.

I dont know what the ideal date would be for me. There are too many things I would like to maybe do. I think taking a canoe up on one of the lakes here would be nice. We could canoe back in aways, where nobody is. Once we found a nice place to setup a small camp, we could attempt to make dinner over the campfire. I would probably end up breaking out the stove though, since I am not a chef when it comes to firepit cooking. :) After that, I would want to just sit there, and watch the fire flicker, while talking through the night.

The ideal date for me is any dat where the girl agrees to go out with me. haha. Actually, I don't go on dates anymore. I mean, I just kinda hang out with this one girl, who's my best friend, and we hang out every weekend, so I probably forgot how to take a girl out. lol

Game of bowling, dinner, then relax and have a conversation with the girl. GET to know her alot better, take her out some more then hook it up with her. My only problem is, I need to ask out a girl, and I got my eyes on one.

I think it’s great that all you guys like to cuddle and do all those romantic things and it’s even better that you’re not afraid to admit it. Good to hear that there are lots of sensitive, awesome guys out there! :D

My Date.

Send her some flowers during the day.
Pick her up in a lomousine with a bottle of wine etc.
Take her out for a nice quite dinner.
Then maybe a movie or nightclub.
A walk somewhere afterwards to talk etc.

Then take her back to her place or mine for a coffee/wine/beer.
Then give her a kiss goodnight and ring her the next day to see how she liked the evening.

That is sooo much fun. This wasn't a date or a party either, but I went with some friends, guys and girls, to one of their's cottage on the beach. We started a fire and a conversation at 9 PM, and put out the fire, stopped talking, and went to sleep at 8 AM. That was sooo fricken cool.

this would be the best of the best

Take a private jet to Tahiti, get a limo to the 5 star $3000 a night hotel room... fun in the sun :D make use of the hotel things (hot tub). if this was ideal, a round of golf :) then a night on the town, maybe hit a casino, then a night club... end up in bed

Maybe its cause of where I live, but even normal ppl would ask a girl to go bowling. If I had the balls to ask a chick out,[which i dont] id ask her out for some bowling.

Edit: the term "cool" really bugs me, cause who gives a fuck if you are "cool"? I have low self-esteem, but I dont need others telling my how im the shit, if im the shit, then I will know that, i dont need others tellin me.

being "cool" isnt a solid thing. there is no way you can be 100% cool, cause everyones definition of cool is different. At least if you are gay, then your gay, its absolute, but if your "cool" you may be cool to one person, and not another.

"coolness" is definitly overrated.

I define cool as a person that doesn't give a s*** what other people think, they're just themselves and nice to others.

Anyways, OT, I would go bowling too. I'm just a wee bit girl shy unless I know her fairly well.

Going bowling is a far more normal thing to do. :D

Simple lesson, (that some less mature members have yet to learn) if the girl like's you it dosnt really matter where you take her, as longs as its somewhere safe till she gets to know you, and somewhere you can both have fun and enjoy yourselfs.
Tahiti is a nice dream, but a good way to laughed at, The Bowling ally donst sound as flash, but stands a much higher chance of being the perfect date. i.e. it's somewhere you get to know the other person, and you both decide that you want to see each other again. :)

Alright My ideal date is to basically Pick up whom ever the date is and go out to a really nice restaurant have a nice quiet dinner together to get to know each other and etc. After the restaurant go out to somewhere we can both have fun and talk ....like putt putt golf :D Something relaxing and fun . After that I would probably go somewhere ....where we could see the stars and just talk and talk and see where things went from there :) .

Now my perfect date, (since I feel I should actualy contribute something to this thread) is going any where we are both going to enjoy our selfs, and have an opertunity to talk and get to actualy know each other.
It dosnt bother me if its a nice resturant, a bowling ally, the beach, the top of the Sky Tower (that is a really cool spot), or meeting at a party then going for a tour of Aucklands volcanos.

We meet at the gate, and she suggested we just go for a walk, so off we went, through a few gates, I had to help her over some fences, out into the paddocks. We stoped at a cliff top and she had a bit to eat, started acting all demure, then turned around and just walked up to the edge .......... ahh now I cant tell you the rest.

G$: Around here, I thought bowling was pretty geeky too, but I was utterly amazed at how many people bowled. And I'm talking about people you wouldn't expect to bowl, like thugs and gangsters. Even though I've never bowled, I think bowling is like golfing--sure it looks boring/stupid, but it's freaking fun! Though golf is the shit, I can't imagine asking just any girl out on a golfing date.

I dont bowl often now cause of the shoes. I have wide feet and the shoes are not very flexable, so it hurts the sides of my feet. I used to wear street shoes, but got busted by one of the fags that works at the alley.

I was watching "Gonna meet a rock star" on Muchmusic where they take a fan and take him to hang out with the band of his choice for a day. The guy went with Linkin Park, and they all went bowling together. The lead singer is freakin amazing at it! He got 7 strikes in a row!!

This could change depending upon what mood I'm in and who it is...

I've done everything from going to an amusement park--which was awesome, and other times just hanging out and watching a rented movie was awesome, too!

I've gone bowling--- ;) not meant to start any riots, though. It all depends on the person you are with.

No, I think this would be a great date--the only catch is that you'd both have to suck ass at golf or both be good at it. I agree that it absolutely sucks playing golf with someone who sucks. But if you both suck, then you can play like nine holes and laugh at each other's general suckiness. If you're both good, then it'll be competitive and fun. Either way, you get some time to get to know each other, y'know.

that's why i put golfing in the ideal date.... because it would be damn ideal if girl could golf with me :)

they don't even have to be good... if a girl just had like a 20 handicap, that would be a good date
they don't have to be competitive or anything, just as long as they can play the game. Then it would just be a little relaxed round of golf

but you know how hard it is to come by a girl that can golf? pretty damn hard :) and if you do find one there's a 95% chance she's not very good lookin... so you wouldn't go on a date wit her
