What do you drive?

Do you drive an American car, European car, Jap. car, or something from another country??? I drive American.:smile:

Should add another option I drive an Oldsombile, and a Volvo and if I'm lucky I drive a Supra

My car was designed in europe but its made here and in europe.....so which is it?.....

Only got one car and from Europe (Italy) looking at investing in a Japanese super coupe though- most cars that I have owned have been made in Europe with 1 in America and about 3 or 4 in Japan

Let's see - I drive a Euro Car assembled in Belgium being a Ford Mondeo.

Being in New Zealand, I could drive a Jeep but our right hand drive ones are assembled by Steyr-Puch in Austria (so does that make it a Euro?).

Similarly, the ML Mercedes and BMW Z3 are assembled in the US - so does that make them American? Or how about our Toyota Camry which is assembled @ Altona Plant in Australia or our Mitsubishi Diamante/Magna which is assembled in South Australia? Before you say CK'D - nope the panels are pressed there - maybe the engines came from somewhere else - but then no-one says a Holden Commodore is American because it has GM Gen III V8 or a Buick V6 in it...

We have Honda Accords about to come here from the US... but thankfully our Ford Escapes are built in Hiroshima in Japan (being Right Hand Drive so we don't have the kwality problems the American ones do)... and then of course we have our Ford Focus which is made in Europe - do you consider it American or European?

It's a 2003 generation America's Cup Class Yacht - this one being the ill-fated NZL-82 which lost the cup to SUI-64 in Auckland earlier this year. Apart from being a scuba diver, skier and all number of other interests - I am also a sailor of keelboats.

Well my car was assembled CKD at Stokes in Nelson (New Zealand) with parts sourced from Japan



Whats left of the Jetta was made in Germany.

Let's see, Yeah, I only drive Japenese, since I hardly get to drive my dad's Audi A4. I do drive the Montero and my Eclipse though.
