I know of two or three people that put a new set of wires on and it didn't fix the problem. New cap and rotor also was replaced. I also have had injectors replaced. Its getting to the point maybe the truck needs replaced??? If the dealer is going to check with district rep and see if general motors will help paying for this, I might go ahead and have the heads taken off. I really don't want to spend this kind of money. I might as well get a new one, but $1000.00 is cheaper. Any other ideas???

I'm not familiar with this year, so I'm not of much help. Is the engine missing when you're sitting at a stop light?

Has no miss when idles. Only does it going up a hill, just as I reach the top. Read my other messages on down. (what dealer wants to do)

My dealer is telling me that the valves is sticking in the vavle guides. They tell me that the heads have to come off and need machined. It has a #5 cly misfire, and shutter/vibration only when reaching the top of a hill under a pull. They said that they just fixed one last week, but want me to wait a week or two before I bring mine in. The cost is about 1300.00 dollars. GM is going to pay for half of it. Help... What does everyone think???
