Are there any potential risks in using racing fuel?
or, for instance, any fuel with higher octane ratings than 93. Would it be worth it to make your own octane booster? How high an octane could you run before it becomes too detrimental on your engine? does it at all?
im just starting to research this so anything you guys know would help a lot.

i dont think it is good or useful to use racing gasoline on stock motors like D15 buddy :biggrin2: lol

is 94 octane pump gas alright 2 run in a stock d15b2?? lol or could this explain why its running rich and burning too many hydrocarbons? lol

Racing fuel(100+ octane) will harm emmision parts(cat. 02 sensor) if not burned completely. This will result in major carbon build up & also a complete waste of money for a stock D15. 91-94 octane i dont think will be a problem, but still not really needed.
