my knowledge of aftermarket parts is limited, so could anyone tell me what a Y-pipe is? Thanks.

A Y-pipe goes from your exhaust manifold to your Catalytic converter. Changing it will add lot's of HP and torque, since the stock one is very restrictive. Check out www.cattman.com www.warpspeedperformance.com or www.stillen.com for more info and pics...
