Bentley E39 Service Manuals

Bentley will publish their 2-volume E39 Service Manual beginning October 1, 2003. If you order before August 30, they will ship the set for free. The cost is $169.95. For all you E39 do-it-yourselfers out there, this is opportunity knocking.

I had a Bentley manual for my E30 and it made my life a lot easier than trying to decipher the service manual I bought through BMW.

thanks for the info, thats excellent news... these are the only manauls worth investing $$ on..

I also use the Bentley manual on the E30. So with much anticipation and confidence I purchased the Bentley for my E39. I was very dissapointed when they arrived. They say they cover the M52 and M62 engines. The problem is that for both engines the block conrods and pistons (sub-assembly) is not addressed.

I sent them an e-mail expressing my disgust, but hey have not replied yet.
