hey ken
Boston Pros 6.5
oh they are nice ...a piece of art man
i am quite sure they will fit in..you might need to rebuild your spacer tho,
coz they are 6.5s and the factory ones are for 6s
they are quite shallow tho :)
however..to make the boston pro sounds good
you will need some good installation work
sealing your door is a recommendation (sound deadening)
or else they will sound just like any cheaper speakers

they handle a good amount of power...but do need that fine installation to some good, they are not those kinda "chuck in and sound good"

thanx dude.

i compared JL Audio and those Pro6.5's. the bostons sounded too bright for my taste, so i went with the JL.

anyway, i installed the JL Audio 6.5's yesterday and it was a tight fit. i needed to add a spacer on the speaker frame because the depth was about 2mm too much. i xover everything on one door first to test...just to make sure its the sound i was after.. shit, it sounded like I was listening to music in my walkin closet. dead as hell, no high's. so took it out (after 2hours installing the bastard) and gonna return it today.

gonna try eq'ing my stock bose speakers for now with the kenwood 1/2 din space EQ with amp (20w per channel) and save up for a real amp/speaker system next year. yah, gonna have pro's install the next system as its gonna be a big project. :p

what amp are you using to drive your front components?
remember one thing....power is probably still the most important thing to make speakers sound good
without enough good and clean power you might as well get some "not as good" speakers
coz you won't be making much use of the speakers

yah, you're probably right. the nak is only sending out 40w per channel. i might as well go for a coax type for now.

what do you recommend for a coax? Im gonna disable the factroy tweeter. im not into bright sounding speakers....i listen to contemporary jazz mostly. thanx.

Hi there!

I have Boston Acoustic Pro Series 6.4 on my Honda Civic and it was great! To bad I'm getting rid of my honda and going for G20 touring before X'mas. I love my honda and I'm going to miss(stick shift) so much. Alright back to BA, I'm going to need a little bit help on installing the Boston Acoustic on G20 94'. Wiring diagrams???...where could I get it? What else could I do with the G20? I've been checking this site almost everyday and found lots of good info.

~Adios amigos~
