ProJect: WRX StI (Pics Inside)

I just started my WRX STi a few days ago. I put a custom paint job on it, with 3 Silver Leaf base coats, 3 Mica Blue candy coats, and about 10 layers of Tamiya clear coat, the paint job came out great. After i waxed it with Meguiar's Wax, i could see my reflection. I'm planning to put sum Volk Racing TE37Mags on it, and a custom built intercooler. Here are the pics. Enjoy!

You know, aside from the gloss paint used, the interior looks clean and coordinated.

Hm, yeah, I do agree it SHOULD be at all costs flat colours in the interior.
Yours looks just a bit sloppy (where the blue meets the black, but this surely won't be seen on the finished model, so WTH ?
Still, making a nice built car here!

Yeah, it is a bit sloppy, this is only my second model, and the first time i painted the interior like this, plus the brush i used was pretty big, so it was hard to contain the paint.

You might try hitting the interior with a coat of Testors Dullcoat; that should help...

At least he's honest. I also don't think it looks too great, but only because it was paited with gloss paint. Unless its still wet...then it looks good .

Car looks good. As for the interior, just get a better brush (smaller and better quality) and touch it up. If you intended it to look like vinyl, try spraying a semi-gloss clear coat on it, if you didn't want to look like that, spray a matt (flat) clear coat.
Now a tip on the headlights, and the tail lights as well. You are supposed to push them in until they 'snap' into place. They should be flush with the edge of the body. The tail lights are a bit tougher to do, as you will be trying to snap them in/not break the tail light parts/not crack the body and/or smear the paint job you just put down.
Have fun.

The paint looks great!
The interior could stand a little touch up, otherwise it does look very well coordinated as was said earlier.
I actually tape mine off and spray them with gloss colors and then after they've dried a bit I spray them with a flat to give it that leather or vinyl look.
Good work, Look forward to your finished product!
Chris
