Formulating a plan

Hey guys, I've been reading these forums and any other sources of information I can find to figure out what I'm going to do with my '02 si. Bear with me because this is all a lot to take in for someone who doesn't know much about cars, but really wants to learn.

I'm waiting until the factory warranty is up, and as soon as that happens, I'm planning to do all the CAI, exhaust and suspension (haven't decided if I'm doing the springs/shocks or the coilovers yet.) after that stuff, it gets a little foggy.

I'm not sure if in the long run I want to do a turbo or not, so after the bolt-ons, what would be the next step if I wanted to stay n/a? and if I wanted to do a turbo, can someone give me a list or a link of exactly the stuff I'd need to do to make it so my engine could handle it?

I've got a lot of time to figure this stuff out, I just want to make sure I form a plan so that I don't waste money/time fixing my mistakes.

ps. I don't care about body kits and stuff.

why are u waiting till ur warrant is up? u can put an intake and exhaust and lower it without it voiding the warranty, just has long as what ever problem u have has nothin to do with u changing anything


But a turbo will deff void any kind of warranty

Yeah well, there's more to it than that, We're working on buying a house and stuff, so right now isn't the best time to be doing this stuff, I just figured at the rate I'm putting miles on it, the warranty will be over in about a year, and hopefully we'll be in a new house with that nasty downpayment behind us, and I'll have more freedom.

I also have to wait until after we have a house because I dono't want to be doing this stuff in the parking lot of my apartment building.
