We were on the freeway, first day with the new engine, and pulled up next to an S2000. We both did a third gear drop going about 60. VTEC pulled me close, but the S ate me up and spit me out about 2 car lengths behind after hitting 100+. It was fun though :)

How much did you purchase your b16b?
Not doubting you, but those are some rare mo'fo's.

Personally I've never seen one at any shows around here nor at the track, so I guess they are pretty rare. That's one of the few reasons I bought it...

Yes, they are rare.
I was at Hasport one day looking for something for my Civic(R.I.P.), and they had one of those bad boys. I asked if they were selling it, and they said "If you have 5,000 dollars in cash".
Incidentally, I also saw their project Civic TypeR (2002 RSX-S motor into 2002 Civic Si), and was impressed by their quality of work.
Have you done anything suspension-wise? My friend's shop can get a full, stock CTR suspension, including the five-lug conversion and brakes for about $900-$1,000 U.S..

The engine took a big enough bite out of my wallet for now, I doubt I'll do anything with the suspension for a while... it's stock. I do have a front-upper, rear-upper, and rear-lower tie bar though and it handles very tight. I know it will be a lot better with coilovers/adj. struts (or ctr suspension in this case), but I can't fork over a grand to improve something already working well. Plus, I live in Ohio where one day it's 85º and sunny, the next day there's a snow storm. Potholes run rampant here. :frown:

My opinion's biased since I got a great deal off i4. I've heard good and bad things about other sites, but like I said it's just what I've heard. Do what I did and call around to each one beforehand, comparing prices, then make your decision based on instinct. Remember low cost doesn't necessarily mean good deal. Whatever you do don't just plug in your credit card# and cross your fingers on such a purchase...
