JL stealth box for 4th gen maxima

Hi, i'm new to the forum, and i'm wondering if anyone here has the JL stealth box for the 4th generation maxima, i was wondering how hard it hits and if it is really worth it of if i'm better off just buying a normal box and sticking it in the back taking up space. Let me know what you guys think of it. i know it retails for 500, someone's offering it to me for less, let me know..........

well the guy is offering it to me for 220 and whatever shipping costs are on it to get to me in oregon. it will be less than 300, thanx for the offer, u happen to know if it hits pretty hard or not? and is it clean or what, let me know....

Yes, it's a very clean sub. It is a sealed enclosure to give you a nice tight bass response. It will bump to a point. If you are looking for alot of boom-boom out of this box don't buy it. Look into 2 12W3's by JL and have a custom box built for it. The sound quality of whatever sub you choose will depend on the amp. I would suggest the JL 250/1 (I have this one) which is perfectly matched to the JL Stealthbox.
