idol thats funny

ok when i go to the gas station and fuel up my car it will stall out every time i try and start it and even other times it just dies out can someone tell me what is wrong and what i should do. i already cleaned out the throttle body but that didnt seem to work. could it be the idol sensor. idk someone help.

No real help but its idle.

Maybe your fuel filter needs to be replaced it could have alot of gunk in it my car kept stalling intermittently and I replaced the fuel filter, which was way old and the car ran fine after that.

i agree with the fule filter diagnosis mentioned above. it's a good place to start at least and you can check in yourself with ease

Check the EGR valve to make sure it's not stuck. Also, you say it just dies every time it wants to idle?

ok i just put in a new tank and changed the filter and everything all at that time but i will change it again cause thats not a big deal.
also i advanced the timing cuse it was off just a little and now it doesnt do it as much
whats a egr valve?? cause i'll do that once i kno what it is. the car will rev all on its own for like a minute when i first strat it. and it goes down to almost 0 and then shoots up to a grand. but only after fueling.....................
