I've got the Audiovox APS 996, and I love it to death...

You can do alot of cool shit with it, and it's got a great range. I was at the top of the space needle in seattle arming/disarming my alarm from all the way up there. I was also able to check the temperature inside the car from up there too...

There's a company called CompuStar that makes an almost identical alarm system... check out www.CompuStar.org

looks alright but i like the alladin one better so far cuz it works w/ standar cars for remote start

They all work with standard transmissions... you just have to add a sensor that checks to make sure the car isn't in gear before it starts.

well, i dont plan on installing one myself so ill ask whoever im gonna get to do it if they can add that sensor or whatever. cuz the lcd thingy looks better on the audiovox one.
