who would win?

would a 98 dodge neon 2.0 R/T manual, superchaged with a 50 shot of nitrous be faster than a 91 civic dx B16A swap with I/H/E and some other small misc shit in a 1/4 mile?

ok im just estimating here. . .
the neon stock has got to have atleast 140hp, then with the s/c, its got to add atleast 40, then the nitrous will put it around 200 or so. . . i didn't even know neons had r/t models

the neons stock hp is 150 but I dunno what the SC would do and I think hes only pushing 55 shot of nitrous. so I was guessing around at least 275hp ?

but the civic weights 400lbs less.

haha i'm thinking so to. see my gramps babies him and buys him this neon, a sc and the nitrous setup. I wouldn't ask for anything because I can handly stuff myself (slow progress) but it just pisses me off he doesn't have to work for it and get's it handed to him :\

if all this is given to him for free, more than likely he's an irrespondsible 16 year old like me, and with 275 horses, he's either gonna get himself into trouble and/or reck his car, i hope if you guys do decide to race, you do it somewhere safe. easy come easy go

it should be pretty close, the neons only weigh 2400 lbs. you have a small weight advantage on him, i'd bet on the neon. although he might beat you, he still owns a domestic. :loser:

Well I'd be the resident Neon expert, having owned one. With all that he'd beat you. But he is still driving a Neon, so YOU will be cooler. That's all that matters. Hell a stock 95-98 Neon ACR (competition model) will beat the car in my sig, but what car would you drive?

the neon r/t would beat the shit out of a b16 but neon's are garbage, plain and simple

Hey 4G4D, I just got back from Orlando. And I didnt see any old shool rides, or anything, just some 92+ Civic's with mufflers. But being a tourist, I only looked on International Dr. Where do I go to see import action down there?

on friday and saturday night they have races on sand lake road but they all meet up at walmart on sandlake and john young parkway.

Who would win? Well it really doesn't come down to horsepower it comes down to the driver and what he can do!

well like someone said above.. he's a young punk pretty much. He's into the loud look. He's got body kit and it's like 1in from the ground and all that crazy looking neon light shit plus he has a stereo. we'll probably race on the street at the reunion but around here roads are flat and straight for miles so unless he really sucks at driving he won't crash. He's already wrecked it once running up on some ladies ass and trying to swirve at the last second and cliped her rear end, and if that wasnt enough from him hitting the brakes so hard his gf was behind him and slammed him rear haha but yea gramps fixed that for him :dunno::disappoin but o well. when my cars complete it'll stomp the hell out of that neon.. haha thanks for the advice peace
