330ci Options

This isnt really a specific question, rather a do/don't area.

Options. Premium package.. Worth it? Better to get parts individually? (especially the cd player... $600 to have them install a 6 disk?!?)

I'm leaning towards the stickomatic because I'll be driving 80-90miles per day. Not much traffic, but enough that I dont want to deal with the clutch.. (although the 0-60 is affected by ~.7 seconds or so)...

So, any reccommended options, any not needed?

Thanks,

PCH

Premium package is this.

-Automatic-dimming inside rear-view mirror

-Myrtle wood trim

-2-way power glass moonroof

-Montana leather upholstery

-4-way power lumbar support for front seats

-Rain-sensing windshield wipers

-Automatic Headlight Control

If you get the premium package, you get all of that. Or can you pick and choose what items you want (doubt it).

Thanks for the info,

But in your post you made a comment about Cd player and 6 disk cd changer.

I guess the CD changer is aftermarket then...?

Talked to a few friends with bmw's and they said that the CD system for bmw must be a bmw changer and installed by bmw.. you cant have a 3rd party system...?

Seems a bit cheap.. or ridiculous... to have a 35-40k car with an extra $$ gouge for a standard audio system...

Thanks,

There is a Bose Sound System option.

Nope no Bose in a BMW, just the stock and a Harmon Kardon.

i would go for the harmon kardon audio option that's what i have and the sound is really good
I would also go for the premium and sports package.. they are worth it

and get a manual, it just makes the whole driving experience fun

im sure you know the 330's already come with power seats, alum interior trim and hk sound standard. thats enough pampering in my
opinion already. i would opt for the sports package instead.
stiffer suspension, and 17'' rims.

Don't all 3 Series come with Sports package for 2002?

I think the 330ci and 330i have the sport-tuned suspension as well as the 17's standard. But the sport package, with the different-style rims, sport steering wheel, M aero kit, etc. is still an extra.

The coupe (ci) comes standard with the sports package... the Mtech package is a option.

So is the standard 330ci front/rear bumper the same as on a 330i/xi with the sport package? For some reason I can't seem to find any front-on pictures of the 2002 330i/xi with the sport package anywhere. If anyone has some nice pics to share I'd like to see them.
