That would be a waste of money... the reason headlight assemblies are not black housing is so that the beam from the bulb is reflected in a parabolic arc by the housing, so painting the inside of the housing black, or having one that is made with a black housing would make your headlights extremely dim.

So, to answer your question, No.

Like I said you could crack some OEM headlights open and paint the housing, but also, like I said, the lighting will be worthless, and you'd probably get pulled over more times than you can count (that's if you can avoid getting into any accidents long enough to get pulled over).

thats not true at all, theres an acura 1.6 here in oakville and he has black housings in it, its got a crystal clear lense and then the first like quarter to maybe one half is black, then it gets to the reflective stuff, and it looks awsome, so the whole housing isnt black, sorry i should have said that before

For black housing projectors see Matrixracing.com they have just about every kinda headlight for 4th gens there are. I personally bought a set of black housing Blue ion projectors.. They are the hot shit.. at least i think so and so do alot of other people.. the only problem...like dude said.. the regualar driving lights are dim as fuck!!!! even with a better bulb.. Ive bought cuzo cuase i thought silverstars were not bright enough...it was like dringing with the lights off.

What i figured out is that you can really really light up the road if you drive with ur high beams on...(no shit right:thefinger: ) just angle the lights down a few degrees so your not blinding people and your all set.. The black housing with Highbeams gives the front end a really cool look as apposed to just the driving light. Plus u won't have to worry about getting pulled over.. as long as its angled down just enough you can drive behind a cop all day long and they won't know. Ive been doin it for months.

You have MR-7's? Those have to be the most bought rims in the U.S. Theyre on anything from a old ass Grand Am to a Supra SE here in my town.

And they look damn good on his car, so keep your off topic, unwanted comments to yourself... So why have the pic of the Si in your sig if your profile says you have a CRX? And your screen name has Accord? Identity crisis??

If you read his post, he's not interested in projectors. He wants black-housing OEM lights... :dunno:

It would look tight as hell... I just wish I could find black-housing corners or full amber corners for a 90 hatch. The black projectors look stupid with OEM corners or clears...

Oh, and I completely disagree with CivicAssassin. The projectors are plenty bright as long as they are aimed properly. And the high-beams on them are fucking bright! Wow.

you need some VHT Niteshades

its a clear black spray that goes clear when you turn the light on.. so its smoked black, then you turn the corner and it looks orange

Projectors are bright.. and the High beans are crazy bright but for some reason mine normal driving lights are dim as fuck... I might as well drive with them off. proper aiming helped it a lilttle bit but it still was dimmer than my stock headlights thats why i use my high beams.

Ive seen clear corners with black housing for a crx (things are awsome!!) but i have yet to find a black house set that will fit a 4thgen civic. Im sure someone makes them.

all you have to do is modify some high beam bulbs and put them in your low beam spots on the projectors. it works awesome.

i have CRX black housing corner lights on my hatch, but i used CRX fenders. thats them in the pictures above

ill have to try that cuz they aren't bright at all.. thanks for the tip i'll have to look into that one tommorow.. but drivin the high beams is the shit.. it makes the projectors so much cooler looking. where did u get ur corners from or did u make thos urself

they are CRX corners, and CRX fenders.

putting the high beam bulbs in the low beam spot makes the projectors look cool too
