mkiv.com might have the information that you are looking for for mkiv's na cars in general but probably not specific to the '98 automatic. Still - you might get a good estimate.
I just found this on i-supra that answers your question - except it's not specific to AT.
specs near the bottom of this thread (http://www.i-supra.com/6/ubb.x?a=tpc&s=154607117&f=349609257&m=3136093273&r=2546064773#2546064773)

hmmm - why do you say that? Why would most specs be for the auto not the manual?

i mean published specs like car and driver and such
its not too often the test an automatic sports car
any specs youre going to find are going to be people that own the cars that go to the track and dyno and such. in those youre going to find a large variance because of driver error and different levels of skill

I was confused by your post because the mkiv manual is a six speed. The auto is a 5 speed. I agree that published specs would probably be for the 6 speed manual and not the auto, though.

He's talking about the NA, not the TT.

also...the auto is a 4 speed...3 speed plus overdrive
the 5th shift you might feel is just the torque converter locking up
