What is your favourite season?

This is kind of a lame topic, but im really bored.

What is everyone's favourite season? Pick one and say a few words to back-up your choice.

This may not apply as much to some ppl, cause the climate may not change that much where you live.

Me I choose winter. Sure its cold, and having to shovel the large amouts of snow sux, but winter driving can be fun. Also snowmobiling, and ice fishing are alot of fun.

Id rather be too cold, than too hot

I'm a winter baby so, for the obvious reasons. I just think that I can handle the cold better than the heat. Being someone from the caribbean, I'm often looked upon as weird because I should be embracing the summer more than winter. I don't know. Ah, fuck it!:D

Summer in Northern Michigan is as nice as any place on the planet. This includes Maui, Ohahu, Fiji, Siapan, California and a host of other spots considered to be some of the best places on earth to be.

Winter! The summers here are too blazin' hot to do anything outside. And never having had a swimming pool makes it suck worse. Winters in Phx are very mild...most days you can get away with wearing a t-shirt during the day and light sweater at nite. It makes for perfect driving weather. And if I want snow, then a 2 hour drive north is all I need to get to it.

I like fall. Mainly because the rainy season sets in, the leaves change colors, and everything seems to slow down a bit. And one can't forget how much nicer hot chocolate seems on a rainy fall afternoon. :)

LOL, exactly. Except I hate being cold more than I hate being hot, but yet I like the winter months. In the great words of DVS, Ah, fuck it!

Downhill skiing, outdoor ice skating, SNOW! :D

And I'm of the mentality, it's better to be too cold than too hot!

I love snowboarding but a hate the cold... i can't stand cold weather, so i don't like the winter

I love summer, main reason........ no school!!! plus like primera, long hot days, BBQ :) i love bbq
i get to go in the pool during summer, i can just walk outside wearing a t-shirt and shorts.. don't have to put on all that damn winter clothes.
and i'd rather be really hot than really cold.... when it's cold you feel like you're gunna die, all your bones get stiff and fingers get numb, etc. when it's hot, you're just really hot. but just about everywhere you go there's air conditioning, so who cares

I have to say summer (though I also have to agree with the "sniggling" aspect of winter :D )

Two main reasons: 1 - pool/BBQ etc; 2 - less rain = more playtime in the SKyline :D :D :D :D

The changing of seasons isn't very noticeable. Hawaii doesn't have leaves changing color or snow. But it does get a little cooler and thats why I like "winter" the best.

Are you being serious G$?

You probably guessed the meaning? Something that is bunk, is crap or sucks.

MY favorite seasons are either thyme or cinnamon....:eshooter:

Ok, ok..... I'd have to say spring. The cold is gone, and everything is just getting to be new and nice. And the added bonus is that the cooler air makes my Max run faster!!:frog:

Its spring for me because I love seeing the changes like blossoms, blooms and much greenery. The Midwest is really beautiful in the spring.

I'd have to say Huyu. Why? Snow is friggin cool! Snowboarding is even more friggin cool! Yes it's cold, and driving in winter sucks, but it's just such a magical season! I get a warm fuzzy feeling inside everytime I think about winter.

As for Natsu, mmm... long hot days, sun, and BBQs! But I think the no school argument doesn't hold too much water as there is something called winter break. Sure it may not be as long, but it's as good IMO.

As for Aki, the scenery is fucking beautiful!! Those mutli-hued leaves beat a sunrise or sunset anyday!

The scenery in Haru is also beautiful, especially the cherry blossoms.

Btw, I'd rather be too cold, as it is much more easier to warm up than to cool down.

I can't believe that more of you have voted for winter than summer :ylsuper Right on!!

As you can probably guess, I too voted for winter. Sure, it's a pain to get to work in the snow, deal with the slushy messes and refreezing black ice on roads, etc. But I'll take that over a 100+ degree F day like we had this past August anyday! I love the chill of cold air, the natural high I get from stepping outside on a cold, still night (cold and windy just flat out sucks :( ). I have to spend lots on AC in the summer, but in the winter, I can moderate the temperature to where I like it in my apartment just by cracking a window (I rarely use my heat).

While I will always miss driving my car in the winter, I will trade it for those days where the slow falls in large flakes and sticks to the trees, houses, and pretty much everything else in the landscape. And then coming back inside to warm up afterwards, throw in a little Bing Crosby (did I just say that  )... doesn't get much better than that for my money :D

How could I forget to mention that? I, well, pretty much hate the sun. Yes, it's essential to our very survival, yadda yadda, but in general I like to avoid being directly in it. The longer the night, the easier it is to do this.

I think someday I'd like to head down to Antartica, work down at the South Pole for a year, experience 24-hour nights during the winter.. call me crazy

Its a compliment, of sorts.

Basicly a New Zealand and sometimes Aussie term for a Heavy metaler.
Think Waynes World, they were Bogans.
Long hair, black Jeans, black Metalica T-shirt.
Black woolen jumper. Drives a pre '80 Holden or Ford.

NO NO NO, that was an AMC Pacer. Awesome car. Chassis was designed by Porsche (very few people know that) - it may have been an ugly duckling by most people's standards, but it actually handled quite nicely (well ahead of its time), and had a 258 ci V6. It was my family car until I was age 10. The car was completely shackled by emissions controls.. with those removed, as my father had done to ours, the fucking thing was a hauler!!

I voted for fall nyself I love the leaves turning color and the relief from the oppresive summer heat. Although the last two years we haven't had a real fall, hell its November and it was in the 60s today and I live in southern New Jesey
