DAMN ENTER I wasnt finished typing my message. I suck at the internet.

Asi was going to say I am only worried about one thing. When i turn the car on it sits at 1k for a second but if i tap the gas the revs go up then drop to around 700rpms. Or if i start it and start driving the next time i stop at a light and I'm sitting at idol the revs are between 500-700. Is this normal, I am thinking they should be around 1k at idol. Anyone know what it could be?

Well, that really depends. Is your ride a 5-speed or automatic. Do you play with your sterring wheel while sitting still, pump your barkes or run the air conditioning, or maybe have a stereo that is sucking some juice from your alternator. All of these will effect your idol speed. If you are using your factory tach for a reading, they are not normally acurate, but close. Most cars will idol about 800 with a little load. So you sound fine unless you're an automatic.

It's auto. I dont play with the steering wheel. I just hold the brakes, not pump them. No stereo. It also does it irregardless of wether the a/c is on or not.

It all sounds normal to me. Your car idles at 1k at startup because it's warming up. Try not tapping the gas, and see if it shuts down to 700 or 800 on it's own.
