I got if off ebay. It says Euro Type R S2000 racing starter switch.
Now that I have it and have seen the real S2000 ones I dont really like this one.
I'm gonna see what I can do to make it look different.
Thanks for your help, I just want to know exactly what to do before I go and put this in.
So you guys like yours?

BLU CIVIC, that thread you started helped, thanks.
And I have the same button as you. So it doesnt light up? That sucks, I thought it did.
Have you got another one by now or are you still using this one?

Yes you do. Well... unless you wanna do something really different, you could use a series of switches, or even just one, so that you flip the switch, and then push the button and the car starts without a key, but that's just asking to have your car stolen.

Crxsk8r installed a push-button start in his steering column where the key cylindar used to be, and relocated the key cylindar to under the driver's seat. Looks trick, but seems like it'd be a pain to put the key between your ankles every time you got into the car.

to really make the push button start cool...you need to have like some kind of ignition that works w/ a electronic pass key or something..like the new mercedes have.... you keep the 'key' in your pocket....and push a button on top of the shifter to start the car... someone get to work! ;)

I know most people who dont like push buttons starts say they dont like them because you still need the key.
Its the same with a motorcyle, and they have push buttons.
I know that might not really matter, but at least i am used to turning the key then pushing the button so it doesnt seem like a big deal.

thats why you should get a fuel shut off switch too, but would there be anyway around not using the key?
