Glovebox Flashlight for X5

Does anyone have any info on how to install the glovebox flashlight on an X5? I purchased one from Bavarian Autosport, but there doesn't seem to be a power socket in my glovebox. There is a blank clip with the male power end behind it, but no socket to place the flashlight into. Is this socket available anywhere? Could one use a socket from a 5 series sedan? ANy help would be appreciated.
