What does your user name mean?

I thought this thread would already exist but I searched and I couldnt find one, apoligies if there is one.

Mine comes from the Mini Dejoux that was a kit car based on a Mini Floorpan and Mechanicals from New Zealand.

Yes this post already was created. But it was a loooong time ago. I was actually thinking about bringing it back up. But this works even better, as I think my old one was about 7 pages long.


As for my username, well, I really dont know. I first had it way back in highschool. I was setting up a email account and slacker was already taken. I decided to put my initials in front. I have just used it ever since.

Well, my name is kinda self explanatory. I'm always being told that I am a devious person. I am also cynical about things in life. So as my name implies:

DVS = Devious

N = and

CYNIKL = Cynical

Sometimes I tend to be on the mean side or just plain blunt about things. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes against. Either way, I get my point across.:D:D

The real reason for the nick is that I just love the AM General Hummer. I have posters of the Hummer, my computer desktop has a pic of a Hummer on it, and once, I got to drive a hummer (Just around the block, but I still felt like god :D) My dream is to eventually own a Hummer of my own.

One day I used HuMMErMan as my nick on IRC and it stuck from then on. And if your wondering about the mix of capitol and lowercase characters, I think I was just drunk at the time :rolleyes:

well mine is just the name of a hip hop rapper/group... it's Guru a rapper and DJ Premier the DJ for Gangstarr. I was listenin to them when i registered so i just used that name :D easy enough

I always thought Polygon refered to the Chrysler symbol, since you're such a Chrysler guy.

Heep...well, I've used it for everything for years on end. Acutally, I used to use "TheGreatHeep", but everyone eventually shortened it to Heep. "The Great Heep" was an all knowing garbage heap in the old Star Wars cartoons, kind of like the one in Fraggle Rock.

I really liked it so I rolled with that. I also wanted a username that was easy to remember and easy to spell, so Twist worked every which way.

Do I really have to explain mine?

Mine came from a Korean rap duo, Jinusean--which consists of two guys named Jinu and Sean (duh). Back when I used to like them, I found that it was already taken as a screen name. Since adding trailing numbers is stupid (that's what I originally did), I personalized it by changing the Sean to Shaun (me).

Their music is okay, but I really liked their name, so now I use it everywhere.

those jinusean guys aren't too bad.... I like that song wit Canibus and Chino XL

Personally I like only about three of their songs--they pretty much suck, but cool name. In fact, most of Korean rap suck. But Drunken Tiger and company are the shit.

Mine's easy - its simply the shortened version of my surname. English - speakers find the full version rather difficult to pronounce, so people shortened it and that name stuck - most of my friends call me Seraph. It should actually be "Seraf" but that looks slightly weird in my opinion.;.
