what's this noise i'm hearing??

HI you guys well i've got a question for ya....i just bought a 1999 honda civic ex 1.6L sohc vtec...ne ways when i start to drive i get this real hard jerk that feels like it's the transmission either slipping or snatching into gears.....someone told me it coudl be the transmission mounts i wanna know how much truth to this is....because i want to get it fixed before my warranty runs out....I would appreciate any help you guys can give me

Take it to the place that the warranty is from and have iot fixed they will know what it is.

Does it do it if you just ease onto the gas, or only when you hop on it?
If it doesnt do it when you ease onto it, it might be a motor mount. Same thing happened to my Audi.

IS this an auto transmission or manual?

it does it when i get on it and when i just ease on the gas.....i just wanted to get some ideas to tell the dealer ship when i go take it back so they can't bullshit around with me.....and it's an automatic
