Ever Had Surgery?

I've had two, for the same thing, when I was 4 or 5. I used to be cross-eyed, so I had surgery on the muscles behind my eyeballs. That means that my eyeballs were removed from my head. I only remember the hospital in general, and specifically, the mask for the sleeping gas and the doctor telling me to count down from 100. I only made it to 97. My mom says when I woke up afterwards, I cried blood. Ewww!!! :apuke:
Anyway, even though I don't remember it all too well, I still proudly tell people that I had my eyeballs out! :D
You got any good stories? How much do you remember?
(BTW, it's A-okay not to tell us about personal medical procedures. ;))

Getting your wisdom teeth removed seems to be a common experience. I haven't had a single surgery myself, and I intend to keep it that way. Haven't even had wisdom teeth removed. Well..hehehe...that's mainly because I was born without them. :D
No jokes please.... ;)

I've never had surgery, but almost did when my right canine wouldn't drop into place naturally. The braces they put on took forever to make a space big enough, and the orthodontist wanted to get his grubby little hands in there. Anyway, I escaped his wrath... that time. Now one of my dentists (its a family practice type-deal) wants my wisdom teeth, but the other dentist says it's unnecessary... I knew I liked her! :D

no surgery here.. just lots of stitches :D
first stitches at like 4 years old, and the last ones were when i was like 11
the 11 was a hockey accident and the 4 year old one was at a park hitting my head on the slide (back when they still had metal slides in parks! )

As P.Man said,I find that hard to believe Heep. Especially since the thread about you getting knocked out all those times. :hehe:

Anyways, surgery for getting my wisdom teeth pulled (as many have). Also had to have surgery to remove bone fragments from my right shoulder area, shortly after I broke my collar bone. Also I have had surgery on my right knee, which there is all sorts of tendon and other damage in there (from getting hit by a car, when riding a moped.) [Thats something I forgot to mention in that hospital thread]
I will be going back in for more work on my knee in January, cause sometimes if my knee is on a wierd angle, and I bend my leg, I hear a grinding sound that would make ppl cringe. It pinches the nerves and makes me scream.
I had a plate in there for a while and some screws, and I got some pics of that , but I dont want to start a freak-show here so I wont post em.
So ya, I am a walking collection of parts, and I have had a few surgery's

When I was 15 months old I had my tonsils removed. I was getting an inner ear infection that was actually pretty dangerous. But nothing since then.

I've had two surgeries.
1)I had my wisdom teeth out. I don't remember the two days afterward, except that I had fruit smoothies a lot. Also, they wouldn't let me walk out. They made me ride a wheel chair out! I didn't bruise bad or swell up. My friend got his out later and he looked like a purple cheeked chipmunk. It was all I could do not to laught at him to his face...
2) Ingrown toe-nail. That was nasty. It took 8! EIGHT! shots to numb my big toe. After they took the offending part of the nail out they put a chemical on my toe that would prevent that part of the nail from growing back.
I nearly had surgery when I was really little. I busted (is that the correct word? oh well!) :silly2: my ear drum. But since I was little the doctor said it would grow and fix itself and it did!
