Here's a Toyota Corolla tuner

This is Tamiya's mid-80's Toyota Corolla/Trueno. I built it mostly box stock but added aftermarket wheels/tires from Aoshima. The paint color and interior colors were meant to replicate my Sentra, since there is no such animal in plastic. The paint is touch-up lacquer, sprayed from a can and cleared, then rubbed out. Any comments and questions are most welcomed!

Another picture. The taillights on this car were from a second kit I have. The original lenses were painted in their stock configuration and I thought I'd try doing a clear lens with colored sections to make it look more like a tuner-style car.

Here's a better look at the taillights.

It would look a little better if it were a bit lower but I wanted to fill the wheel openings. If the tires were lower profile it would've helped too.
Which forum are you suggesting it be in?

That looks very similar to my 1991 Mazda MX-6 LX that I used to have. Same color and very similar style wheels too.

Very nice build very good color choice for it also. but i also have to say the wheels are way to large for this car something smaller would pull the over all look if the car together more.

It looks terrific.
I am trying to finish mine.
One question.
How do you convert the dash for LHD?

Juan, if I remember correctly, the Tamiya Corolla Hatchback kit had a LHD dash. I believe that's where mine came from. I also built the hatch, which I left as a RHD car. I'll try and show some pics of it too.
