anyone know how to remove the manual shift knob of a 99 sunfire gt?

Not really too sure about the manual, but on my auto (2002 GT) there was a little clip on the front of the shifter (right under the button) that you pop out with a flathead screwdriver. then it just came right off...

The standard is the same as the auto. pop the clip out with a thin flathead screwdriver
