The rear bumper is a cross between the stock and resin bumper!
I'm trying to improve on this kit.

Instead of placing the resin side skirts over the plastic ones I cut out the stock ones.

Now that I cleared that up, I'll have an update later today. :smile:

Just one more thing to tell you guys. I know I have updated the pics but I've done approx. 80% done body work.

I'm not going to be able to post anymore pictures until late august I'll be away for a month.

I'll still be able to post though. :smile:

I want to paint it white, but most people who have this kit paint it white.

I want to paint it chrome yellow as Pman said it could be the best color for the S15. But Camer just painted his in chrome yellow, and I don't want to be a copy cat.

So I'm not so sure, whether chrome yellow or some kind of white like pearl white or just white.

i would go with a midnight blue pearl

its all about being unique

just an idea:smile:

i'm painting mine pink with a black roof, so don't even THINK about it. :wink:

And I'll put a CF hood on it, it would be easy to do since there are no irregular surfaces.

I saw pics of a nice S15 in a mag, that was painted blue and had a carbon fiber hood.

You missed my thread, remember about 2 weeks ago I said I wasn't going to be at home for a month. :smile: I'm on vacation! :biggrin:

I can still post because where I'm at I have a computer to use.
But since I'm not at home I obviously can't build. Sorry to say this but I won't be back for maybe a little over 2 weeks.

I'm roughly 60% done with the corrections.
I also just bought a Greddy FD before I left for vacation, and I've started on it a bit too. :biggrin:

Ike your idea of a pink S15 is awesome. Have you seen the Yashio Factory S15? You should build it like this car with AVS Model 5's on it.

Here is my update finished the body work. Belive it or not window trim was done by hand with a toothpick and no masking. :nono:

There's a lot of paint on this thing.

1 light coat of mica blue
2 wet coats of mica blue

1 light coat of clear
4 wet coats of clear.

polished with 3m compound.

First time I never sanded a paint job.

Maybe it's only me but I want the old Af back.

I hate the way we attatch pictures, i was faster with the old Af.
5 per post sucks. I think I'll put Aoshima advan rg's or avs model 5's on this one.

Well here it is anyway.

:iceslolan I prefer the old AF, also.

Anyways, nice paint job, please keep us posted! I have tried to get this kit for a few weeks now :banghead: You are a luck guy!
