I just wanted to tell everyone that these new silicone carbon fiber wipers from PIAA really work well. They have silicone (think Rain-X) embedded inside the blade.
Sorry about the picture quality.

wow, those things look like they add forty or fifty horsepower or something...
I like the silicone wipers. Even if the winshield is dry. And when it rains, and you turn em on, they don't make that squeeking noise

I used to have a Nissan. an 87 200SX. my favorite car. I loved that thing. I like to post here cuz this forum is more lively than all the others. yeah, my civic does get about 50 wheel hp. But nowhere on this or any other forum do I claim my car is, or ever will be fast.

Where did you find them? I saw the ad when they first came out a couple months ago but when I go to a car store they all reply, PIAA? don't they make lightbulbs.

They look really clean. Would go great with a Carbon Fiber Hood :frog:. Anyways, primera is that your car with the wipers on? how much for a pair?

My friend works at PIAA's headquarters locally.
He gave them to me off his black P10. He said distributers should have them for sale as we speek.(I think)
Sorry, I don't have a price.

I called my local shop. They offer black and carbon fiber blades. The black blades for my '99 P11 (size 8 and 11), were roughly $17 each. But, the carbon fiber blades were more. He said that they went up to as much as $30 per blade. He has some (carbon fiber) on his Jetta, and they look very trick! But, I think I'll be going with flat black...
