CE light with coldair intake

sorry to all for all the posts on intakes but i really need some help now, then i swear ill stop with intake questions, so anyways the ce light whent on after i installed the coldair intake, i installed all the temp sensors and tubes but the lights still on help please!

That happens with a lot of intakes. It's nothing you did wrong, or nothing to be worried about, you just have to learn to live with it. You could take the guage cluster out and pull out the bulb from the CEL so it doesn't light up anymore if it bothers you. What kind of intake is it? My Weapon R didn't ever do it, till I put a K&N filter on it, then it started doing it occasionally. Now I have a perma-CEL cuz I don't have any catalytic converters. I've been meaning to pull the bulb out of mine.

BTW, I think pulling the bulb out is illegal, so you didn't hear it from me :wink:

I wounder how they would ever know if the bulb was out? unless your car was on fire and there wasnt a light or somthing. The intake is homemade from pvc it looks rather shitty right now because it isnt even painted or anything but it works great, thanks again for the help ldelaysionl :bigthumb:
