Hi all
thought I'd see what kind of mods and upgrades people are doing to their Durangos. I only have 6 months till it's paid off then i'm ready to start on the suspension and maybe some engine mods. Here is a link to my durando pics. Enjoy http://community.webshots.com/album/73158686AsOfEA

PopKorn, your durango looks like it could use some duel exhaust.
Have you gave it any thought? If you do, let me know, i'll be glad to help you chose that right kind.

Well there are several things to do to a durango. You could lower it and put 22's or even 20's on it, body graphics, cowl induction hood. Its up to you, its your ride, but check out others to see what you might like.
I have a 2001 durango, and so far I have a 3" body lift, 33/12.5/15 tires, a 15" off road rim, white with blue flame gauges. Working on custom interior, going to sand off the handles, later on I am getting a 4.5" suspension lift. Custom grille inserts and euro tails. In october I am getting TV's and a stereo system, planning on dual exhaust right now I just have a tip. Working on two toning my interior. Its a slow costly process, but you can do lots of work on your own. I dont even own mine but I will keep it until I do.
Options are many, just make sure its what you really want before you do it. Its costly which ever way you go whether its to raise it or lower it. I like them both ways, just dont put wire rims on, makes it look tacky. 18's would look nice for a small rim, 20's would look good, 22's are expensive but nice.
Good luck on your decision.

Thanks AlsRyd, I've looked into lifts and damn spendy for the Dodge compared to the other 2 (Chevy/Ford). Your ride sounds sweet, got any pics? Not sold on the rice lights yet. Although I plan to get the clear corners for the front. Talked to a guy that installed a CAI and boasted a 30HP increase on a 2001 with a 318.
I recently upgraded the front brakes. Used Raybestos pro series rotors and pads. There were more expensive ones out there but the guy at the parts store recommended the Raybestos. More bang for the buck. Got them discounted and on sale for 234$ for 2 rotors + pads. Big big difference.
The D has 75K on it and still has stock suspension. It's pretty well shot. What kind of shocks do y'all recommend? Ski season's just around the corner....

I will take pictures in a little bit when it gets light out. Not sure about shocks. I have clear corners too, as well as the hyper white fog lights. I will be getting most of my other stuff next month after I get some money from the state dividend.

well thanks, they rubbed for a little bit, we had to trim the wheel wells. and had to trim the fan shroud too in case of overheating.
Well I hope it helped to make some sort of decision
