accident... reset?

My sister had an accident in her Fort Taurus (1997, I believe) and now the car won't start. The airbags didn't deploy, meaning that most likely isn't the problem. The car has power, and when I turn the key, nothing cranks. It doesn't seem to be the fuel pump, as the engine doesn't even attempt to turn. That leads me to think it has to do with power getting to the starter, or the starter itself... All of the fuses seem to be fine. Does anyone know of any other accident reset mechanism that I could be missing, or what the problem might be?

Thanks

There is a fuel shutoff in the trunk that kills power to the fuel pump whenever the car is bumped hard. Look around the area of the driver's side deck lid hinge. This device has a Reset button on it too.

It may be mentioned in your Owner's Manual.

Good Luck! Let me know what you find.

Fuel shut off DOESNT AFFECT CRANKING.. So its a fusible like, broken battery [inside] Try and start in neautral instead of park.. The tranny safety switch might be bad too. Foot on brake??
