3.2 TL transmission

PLEASE DO NOT ASSUME that if you have driven quite a few miles without any problems with your transmission that you will not experience any. I have reached 65,000 miles on my 2000 TL and just started having probelems. My transmission problem put me in potential danger on the highway yesterday. The acura mechanic previously told me the car was okay to drive until the new transmssion came in. Not so! Luckily I fell under the extended warranty 75,000 miles. Do not assume that you will not experince this problem!

If I had known what I know now I would have demanded that they replace my transmission prior to this problem! In my opinion it should have been recalled.
