more horsepower, civic coupe

I am looking to add more horsepower to my 2002 civic coupe EX. I had a couple of ways in mind but I wanted opinions on what can maximize my cars horsepower without getting a turbo? thanks

CAI, Headers, High flow Cat, Catback, IAT mod(one that actually does work), racing camshafts, adjustable cam sprocket(s), adjustable FPR. Just to name a few.

what will get me the most power for my buck if i am willing to spend no more then $800- 1000 right now?

$800-$1000...hmmm. Okay, I'm going to go shopping with your money and here's what I would spend it on initially.

Short Ram AI : $100
Headers: $280(DC Sports)
IAT Mod: $80 (Next Level Performance: Triphase)
Catback: $499 (Skunk2 Mega Power)

That should be almost all $1000.

This is assuming that you'll be installing all these parts yourself.

should i go with a 4-2-1 header or 4-1. What is the big difference and which one will be better for the car? Also, whats the difference with short ram and regular intakes besides price? How much more horepower am i looking at with a regular intake as oposed to getting a short ram?

how about:

ebay CAI: $ 40
DC header : $250
custom catback: $130
weight reduction: free

there is your basic boltons for under $500.
that should give you about 10hp or so. take the remainder of the money and buy a cheap nitrous setup. thats about the only way you will see a jump in horsepower.

i'd get 4-1 for your car. if you have a manual transmission you can launch higher than an a/t so the slight loss of lowend torque wont matter.

im drivin an automatic. I had another ? about the handling of my car. I recently bought 18 inch enkei wheels with toko parada spec 2's. the handling sucks now cause of the power sterring and the size of the tire. when im on the highway i start to drift alot if i dont hold the wheel straight. Will a front n rear strut bar setup help this problem greatly, or am i wasting my money? Also i really like the dc sports but dont wanna spend the money if i can get the same performance from a cheaper band. Give me some names if any? thanks

try getting an alignment
