Civic with COMPLETELY CUSTOM BODYKIT

well heres a kit from a friend of mine that he asked for me to represent on this site....
he assembled the kit...
i just gave him the putty to make the body kit and i painted it...
we had some problems with the paint chipping alot cause of the gay enemel paitn he painted with at first...
but we solved it almost to the extent where you cant even notice it...
well to avoid hate reply i will tell you that some of these pics have been "fixed" in photoshop..
i just coverd up like 3 - 4 chips in the bodyy...
sorry i just didnt want you guys to see the "mess up"

the car has only 2 layers of paint...
ii didnt drown the car in paint.. not at all
i just messed around wtih the pics on photoshop
shaved the body in photoshop
there are 2 pics where you can see the side body lines...

Honestly, that front end is gross. You must have given it a lot of paint too, because the panel lines seem to have disappeared. The putty-body-kit looks unclean.

im gonna take my art class aspect at looking at this,
personally, i dont like the body kit, bit its clean, no sand marks, etc. so its been done good. but its just pure ugly:puke:

i didnt really like it either...
but that his 2nd model and the man did that all that in 2 days....
its not something to awe over... but its cleanly done and nice...
it was hisand my first time working with putty...
i didnt really work on it expect sanding a little with soft sand paper...

Goran, tell your friend that he needs to spend a good long time looking at cars that actually are beautiful (like Ferrari 250GTO's, teardrop Talbot-Lagos and Delahayes, Aston Martin DB4 Zagatos, and Toyota 2000GT's) before he even considers this mistake of a Honda visually appealing.

I'm sorry, but his bodykit makes the car look (amongst other things) fat and cartoonish, and has no apparent purpose aerodynamically which is a double failure. The paint is near flat and feature-less, and there is no extra detailing done what-so-ever that counteracts the downright silly bodywork.

Quite frankly, this looks like something I'd expect to get with a Happy Meal.

ok i have to admit that it looks pritty ugly but, hey maybe its his first try at molding things...we all have to start somehwere...and i bet your first molding didn't look good....we learn over time by making better kits....by either gaining knowledge or skill.... i just think we shouldn't dash on him like this.:2cents:

it looks like one of those ricers that grafts the front end of a different car onto theirs, and in this case, dude wanted to make his Civic look like a Viper. just gross. i'm only being plain honest since everyone else has too. the paint color is dull, the body kit is ugly, yellow on red looks gross, the wing is nasty, COME ON MAN! Junkyard Wars could do better.

YuModeler - Was that really necessary? Frankly I think you know you have out stayed your welcome with comments like that. I understand if you are a little upset from some initial comments that were made. Personally i think people could have been a little more diplomatic but everyone is entitled to their opinion. However your arrogance didn't help matters.
