97 Le, Lsd?

i read the FAQ a few days ago and i don't recall this being in there otherwise i would probably know the answer to this question, correct/bitch at me if i'm wrong. anyway, does a 97 LE that has ABS have a LSD? i'm pretty sure the 95-96 with ABS had a LSD, but not sure about 97. (and no i can't pull the car out and check it, cause it's not mine yet. and i don't feel like going 700 miles to find out :wink: )

If it has ABS, then it most likely will have an LSD. Although I have seen a couple rare cases where the car will have ABS and no LSD, or vice versa. One way to check for sure is to ask the guy for the model ID number of the car. It will be on the VIN plate on the firewall under the hood. If the 18th digit in the Model ID (NOT the vin number) is a C or an F, then you have an LSD. If the 18th digit is an A, B, D, or an E, then you don't have an LSD.

Check the FAQ in just a little bit, because I'm about to write something for it since the digits will vary for the years.
