Thanks, NO body work has been done to this car... up close you can see that the front bumper is pretty chewed up, and the hood needs a fresh coat of paint, and there are a few dings here and there, but other than that it is clean.

My next system I will be flush mounting the amps into the back of the back seat.

Thanks for the complements!

Goddam! that's clean as hell man! I love it! (wanna trade for my EX sedan?).

And what did you mean by modified stock air-box? Did you just remove the snorkel? Just did that to my EX today and didn't notice any difference really... Would be curious to know if theres some other mod for it.

Wow! I really like it!

Thanks again, basically I removed the snorkel, the resonator box, and the rubber joint that connects the resonator and the snorkel to the filter box.

Didja hafta remove the front bumper to get the resonator box out? Never tried on my hatch cuz there was no need, but I want to do it on the sedan.

Yeah I did. Two screws in each fender well, and two bolts behind each bumper light.

nice tidy car m8 ;)

it would be a shame to mod it, but its pointless buying a "tatty" one if your gunna have to do work on it to get it tidy , THEN mod it

Thanks everybody. Up until this point I have been spending most of my money getting the damn thing repaired. First it was the brakes, then the tranny, then this and that and blah blah blah... now it is running perfectly. I hope to do wheels/tires/suspension around spring break, then this summer it is B18! If I have any money after that I'll probably do the Integra brake conversion front and rear.

Nice clean car, everything is clean, the paint, the interior, lucky you. :D

Im not a big fan of the amp under the seat, just seems like it would be better in the trunk where it has plenty of room to breathe. Placing the amps on the back of the seat works really good.

How does the car sound without the resonator? Did it gain any power?

all it really is going to do is increase your throttle response, not really increase your power

DarkImportGrey
07-15-2003, 05:03 PM
Yeah throttle response improved, and it does sound more aggressive at higher RPMs...

I haven't had a problem with the amp breathing under the seat. For a while I had a 80mm fan cooling it using power from the remote turn-on lead, but I took it out... hasn't had any problems with or without it.

The only reason I want the swap is just to have more passing power for my trips to and from home to college, not to mention to be able to say I have a B series swap :)
