FYI: Door shaving legality

I recently was interested in shaving my door handles. I was browsing and came across a posting on this website which stated that shaving door handles are ILLEGAL. However after searching, i've discovered that it is most likely LEGAL, depending on your location of course. I'm writing from PA, and despite the fact that some auto shops didn't even know what i was asking, 80 % who did said it WOULD pass inspection. And the PA state law does NOT state anywhere that shaving door handles is ILLEGAL. So if your having double thoughts about doing it, regarding this reason....check your state law/attorney general's office. The look is well worth it!

shaving doors of thier handles is perfectly legal.. its only ILLEGAL on race tracks.. cuz if there'z no handles on the cars racing, its unsafe cuz if u crash peeps cant open doors to get u out.. but if yer not racing on a track then itz aight. Go ahead an shave them :bigthumb:

um no.........

the shaved door handles are illegal here in wisconsin, numerous cars have been pulled over and told to fix them because the are illegal and then the cops stated that they were not street legal. this happened to a guy with a full bodykitted grand prix who had shaved his door handles. he lives right down the road and he had to fix it before he could drive his car on the street again.
