JDM = JAPAN DOMESTIC MARKET
EDM = EUROPEAN DOMESTIC MARKET
USDM = UNITED STATES DOMESTIC MARKET

pretty much means what is sold in that country.....

ex: JDM lights are lights only available in japan

is stands for original equipment manufacture, as in any "genuine" honda part you'd get from the dealership.

JDM has different levels as in stock and aftermarket. The OEM JDM parts have little differences but that's why they are in demand. Stanley is the company that makes the headlights and corners/blinkers. In Japan some headlights like the Accord and 2nd gen Teg have one piece headlights unlike the two or three piece USDM counterpart. Other stuff like the Gathers CD changer made by Alpine of Japan came in most Honda's and as well as all the little stuff they sell on ebay. Do some research and make sure you know what you're looking at on ebay so you don't buy that BS JDM " style " crap.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think there are JDM headlights with black housing. At least for Accords.

There are black housing for the accords. The actuall JDM ones are for the 94-97 accords only. I had a set on my 96 accord. They were the original Stanley SI-R ones. Here is a picture of it.

Sorry. If you want real JDM ones, they are only in chrome. If you want black housings, you either have to open it up and spray it, or buy the aftermarket ones. At least the JDM ones for your year are 1 piece. :)

Sorry. JDM headlamps come with black housing. You can buy ones off a JDM accord for like $550. But I'd just get the cheap aftermarket ones. Not like anyone can tell the diff.

Sorry. :tongue: but we are talking about different generations. 90-93 there are none and you have to make them like ex-r said which was the original question. 5th gens yes there are black housing.

I could have sworn I've seen authentic JDM headlamps for a 4th gen accord in a shop. Well, i guess just cause they say they're JDM doesn't mean they are.

they do make real jdm's for the 4th gen, but theyre silver/chrome only. basically like the us version, but in a one piece form.
