Goodwood Festival of Speed

OK, I have to admit, I've visited this weekend the Festival of Speed in Goodwood (UK). It was the first time I went there and it was the 10th edition of the festival. And let me say: it was awesome, unbelievable, magnificent, words are not enough to describe it.
I only went for 2 days (friday and saturday) and that surely wasn't enough to see everything! It already started on friday morning on our arrival: Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT, Pagani Zonda, Bentley Continental GT, Mercedes SL AMG, Mercedes CLK AMG, BMW M3 CSL and other supercars were lined up to take on the hill.
For the rest, I fell from one surprise into the other. Although I took a lot of pictures, I still have to digitalize them. So before you guys say:
:useless:
I'll promise I put them on my site once they are done. Cause I'm a modeler in hart and bone, all pictures I took were walk-arounds. Here's an idea of what the subjects are that I photographed:
Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing
Mercedes 300 SLR Transporter
Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut
Mercedes 300 SLR Streamliner
Mercedes W154
Sauber Mercedes C-9
Toyota Toms Group C racer
Lotus Renault 97T
Lotus Honda 98T
McLaren Honda MP4/5
McLaren Honda MP4/8
McLaren Mercedes MP4/13
Subaru Impreza WRC 2002
I ran into David Richards, Walter Rörhl, Derrek Bell, Jacky Ickx and Bjorn Waldegard. Just by coincidence, since I didn't "hunted" the celebs down for autographs. Needless to say that the opprotunity was there to meet a lot more if one would have wished.
I was also extremely pleased to see the Lancia Delta S4 - on of my fav rally cars and so many other GroupC, F1, CanAM and rally cars. Just too much to list, to photograph.
More info and pics can be found on Goodwood Official Site (http://www.goodwood.co.uk/) .
Am I going back next year? You bet I will. Maybe with a digicam then.

I saw the FW24 at the Williams stand, however, it was "race-ready", meaning nothing off or decently visible. I had to choose (running out of film) between the normal FW24 or the MP4/5 with engine cover off or the MP4/8 with engine cover off. So though call and I went for the McLarens. Besides, the Williams stand was so crowed when I got there, that it was very difficult to take good pics. And at a weekend like Goodwood, you don't want to loose to much time waiting for "maybe" some good pics, when there is so much else to see/photograf. I'm really sorry Chain. But probably there will come other occasions.

LOL! :) Have you seen a doctor about this. AFAIK, some allergies can be actually cured (long process, though, not sure you'd complete it by Goodwood). Shark repellent perhaps? :)
On a slightly more serious note, it would be great to go there, and even in our little group together, wouldn't it?

Nps huudo
Considering FW24 to be a newer model than the rest, you have made a wise decision. In your situation I know I would do the same.
Thanks though, any chance at silverstone then?
FW25 may be slightly different but the colours should be the same hehe
J/k

We can certainly look into that. What? We should look into that.

The posts that were removed was one EXTREMELY offensive post by Grande, and the responses to it.....
