what is a good deal for a 22re. I can get a 4 runner sr5 for $400 just needs an engine. I am a truck guy and am ready to trade my prelude for an engine before it gets me a speeding ticket.

If the truck your looking at has an engine in it, even if it is bad, I think you have found a good deal. I just bought a 1986 4 runner with a 22r. It ran , but not very good. I just had the engine rebuilt as well as a head job done, and I spent only $700 for get it done. Now I just have to finish setting it in the truck so I can hit the beach in it. Good luck
