Has anyone seen or heard of a dual exhaust system for a 1997 gst?

And the reason for this would be ?? A 3" turbo-back system is generally more than adequate for anything you need performance wise. Anything else is just rice. Kinda like dual exhaust on a Neon......:greddy2:

Yes, I've heard the same thing. Dual is looks only. No real benefit for a four cylinder.

I'm sure someone could make you one locally. I haven't seen any thru any of the vendors I go to. Its also gonna look a bit strange , because there is a small arch in the rear bumper fascia where the pipe goes on the one side , but there isn't one on the other side on those cars. You'll have to do some modification to make it look right . If you want it for lokks , thats fine , but it will prolly actually HURT performance. If the exhaust gases cool too much before they reach the end of the pipe , they condense and become harder to push out by the gases behind it. You could end up being slower than you were before. But , if you don't care about that , thats fine.

Pruven has dual exhaust on their 92 that was entered in the USCC, this year. Im not a fan of it, plus you gotta buy two mufflers

I think the major performance dissadvantage is the significant weight penalty... Its defintely a show car thing
