I'm sportin' some "bling bling" chrome wheels. They came with the car, so I can't really be blamed. I still think chrome is cool. Although I'm trying to get some not chrome wheels, perhaps something in the 12lb variety.:biggrin:

people are always hating on others, espcially if you dont have a ZC or MPFI, or a B16 Swap,

it is each to their own, but dont expect many people from the USA to like it if u go for looks and not performance, dont ask why , they just dont :confused:

they look like cool rims in all, but i hope you have a dark colored car, i hate seeing chrome on white cars, i think chrome only looks good on Black, and silver.

I am going to back you up here. Not the fact of they cant afford big chrome wheels but more on what 91civicDXdude said.... Honda_Ricer.. Man thats plain rude. If he likes them then thats all that mattered. If you didnt like that you could have just said so.. But saying that is plain offensive... Next time keep your mouth shut or express you oppinion in a more polite manner..

I can explain the hatred for chrome....The Fast and the Furious, it was a "hit" in America, and every teen with a Civic and a job decided to start ricing their cars out like in the movie, and chrome wheels tend to look the nicest. So they bought those like mad, and had slow ass cars too. So when a real car guy see's this, they think "slow ass car, stupid fast and furious dumbass", so us car guys have to step up and buy wheels that aren't chrome, in order to avoid the association. So you see, we don't like chrome because The Fast and the Furious ruined our lives.

Sorry for the rant, I had to write it somewhere.

I hated chrome on Hondas long before F&F came out..

Chrome is for muscle cars. Underbody lights, old school. Some kids are just slaughtering trends that used to be cool years and years ago.. Now its getting hugly overkilled. Dudes rockin' chrome hubcaps even.. Ugh.

i had chrome rims on my honda in 01 before TFATF came out and i hated them then.

chrome looks better on longer wheelbase cars..a 5th gen coupe on chromes dont look bad to me. I would never rock chromes on my crx and I dont. Ricer is...13'' x 4''wheels with 165 70 tires...wow i can spin tires...pizza cutters suck and over weighted wheels suck on a "street/strip" car..17's are too tall for ED's as well. 15''-16'' seem best for looks/performance with wheels weighing no more than 16lbs and the lighter/stronger(forged) the better..but its your car bro do what you want....Fast and The Furious and Honda Civic with funky kits...helping nerd geting laid by hotties since 2001:iceslolan

im a major fan of chromes but these ones dont look good to me but hey get em if u like :)

Alot of people think everyone who rolls on chrome, or has decals on thier cars, vinyl images on the side of thier car.. they're tryin to be fast and the furious in the flesh... but some peeps liked that even b4 the movie was thought of.. AND some people like to just express to every other driver that he/she has different taste, and what they do to their car is thier way of expressin who they are and what they' into an shit.. You guys make em' out to be the bad guys.. and im really kinda tired of the Altezza talk.. I get that you guys and "gals" aint into Altezza's cuz its RiCeY.. you dont have to waste 2 pages of rice talk about it.. Cuz' who ever'z altezzas' yer roastin on, is how they set them aside from everyone else and thier stock cars..
