Transmission Question

I have a 92 Accord LX Automatic and sometimes when I start my car and pull back on the shifter, it is kinda stuck in park and I have to pull on it to get it into gear. Other times it is just fine. I have seemed to nitoce that when the car is "cold" (hasn't been driven for a few hours), it tends to stick. When the car is "hot" (has been driven recently", the problem is not there. Any ideas? Do I need to change the transmission cable or something?

shift cable is binding - replace
or possible coin or soda spilled in the shift linkage

It could also mean that you need to change your auto tranny fluid that is the only thing I could explain as to why it works when it is hot and not when it is cold. When it is cold the oil is clumping up and becoming all gummy and then when it heats up it breaks apart. When was the last time you had the Tranny fluid changed?
