Recently bought a kit buggy. It has for a odd reason a high torque and very stiff clutch. its not a hydraulic assembly but cable driven but the brakes are hydraulic. The clutch pedal portion has weakend under stress and has since bent a somewhat tore. I am not sure where to locate a new assembly and or if there is a better aftermarket one out that will not require a hydraulc install for the clutch. If anyone knows a link to these types of assemblies would you let me know.

It's possible the cable was rerouted poorly when the kit was built, this is a very common problem on shortened VW pans. Make sure the bowden tube is set up correctly.

With a heavy pressure plate, pedal assemblies usually aren't a problem it's the throwout arm that breaks first. You may want to check that too.
