Program a keyless remote on a '92?

I bought a used 92 Grand Prix that came with a keyless remote that doesn't work. Don't know if it's broke of just needs to be reprogramed. Anybody know how to program one of these? Saw some instructions on these forums but looks like they only work on newer Pontiacs.
