Prelude

i am looking at a honda prelude that is for sale in my city. i have drivin the car and is very nice. and the person who owns it has no clue about it. they got the car this way. i need help gettin some specs on the engine. here is the ad in the paper

Up for sale I have a wonderfull 1992 Honda Prelude SIR! This is not your normal every day Prelude, this is a Japanese (J-Spec) Prelude.It has an H23, which is a 2.3 liter engine. This is not the American version of the H23.... It's the Japanese version! Also it is equipped with a close ratio 5-speed with a limited slip differential. However this car is still mostly stock, the only performance parts on the engine are a Polished intake.

if the price is right go for it. from what ive read, if its got a h23 its a usdm prelude si. the jdm h23 didnt start until '93 in the type-s. btw, its got 160hp.
