few engine swap questions.

ok i've decided on getting a sentra, entry-level, then swapping in the SR20 engine. i just wanted to know what year sentra to put the engine in, i.e. what's lightest, different features, dependable...blah blah, whatever.

i was also thinking about just buying an engine-less sentra and then adding the engine. what do you all think would be the smarter choice?

Travis can get you the engines and install for low $.

I would find one that has a blown engine, or is in rough shape engine wise. No use paying extra for one with a good engine if you are going to drop it and toss it anyhow.


The other thing you might think about is just turboing a stock SR20de.

hey thanks man. only problem is that i don't think i could afford the insurance for a turbo engine...which really sucks.
