so i have just made a visit to my (not so) local model shop, Bobs models. very helpfull, and i managed to get all the tools that i needed. so on top of the airbrush that i got only a few days ago, i now have to leran how to use another load of tools effectively. so this is what im going to do. i have this old die cast kit of an alfa 8c from bburago(please do not move to the die cast forum...this was bought as a kit so it is not a ''pre-built'' model). after looking around it i discovered that it was really quite shit. the detail is non existant, and the detail that was there was crap. so im going to test my tools out on this kit by trying to detail it. engine wires, distributer...that kind of crap.

so here it was just before i ripped this very simple kit apart.

more progress when i actually have something substantial to show you.

oh, and my plans for the kit are to make it look like one of enzo ferrari's team alfas from 1936 (or whatever year it was)
