VR6 swap

i was wondering how hard a vr6 swap is in an A2 or an A1. what do you have to get new besides the engine if you do it. If you e-mailed me i would greatly appriciate it but if not im sure i will read it.

Also would i fail emissions if i had a suprecharged vr6 in a 91 gti

hi, ive got a 2.9 mk2, its not too difficult to do, easier if you have a 90 spec gti. mk1 vr6 conversion is alot bigger job, in my opinion you better of going g60 or 20vt in mk1. Very nose heavy, vr in mk1.
